One of the most intriguing pieces of footage released from the White House today shows glowing red orbs moving through the sky. I have no idea what they are. Neither do you. Neither, apparently, does anyone else.
But as I watched the footage, I could not help but think of the biblical imagery of chariots of fire.
Throughout Scripture, heavenly beings are often associated with light, fire, and luminous objects moving through the heavens. Elijah was taken up by a chariot of fire. Ezekiel described astonishing aerial phenomena unlike anything most people have ever seen. The hosts of heaven are repeatedly connected with glory, radiance, and power.
Am I saying these red orbs are chariots of fire? No.
Am I saying they are angels? No.
What I am saying is that in a culture conditioned to immediately assume “aliens from another planet,” it is worth remembering that the biblical worldview has always included intelligent beings operating in the heavenly realm.
The interesting thing is that nobody can definitively tell us what these objects are. And if nobody knows what they are, then nobody can honestly say they are not something that fits within the biblical framework either.
We are living in a time when the conversation is expanding beyond nuts-and-bolts aircraft and into questions that humanity has wrestled with for thousands of years: What else is out there? Who shares this world with us? And how should we interpret the things we are seeing?
Whatever these red orbs turn out to be, they are one more reminder that the ancient worldview of the Bible may be far more relevant to the modern world than many people realize.

We are not alone.
That statement terrifies some people and excites others.
For Christians, it should do neither.
The Bible has always taught that mankind shares creation with other intelligences. Angels existed before Adam. The heavenly host witnessed creation itself. Scripture describes a populated cosmos, not an empty one.
The real question has never been whether non-human intelligence exists.
The real question is who they are.
As governments, military officials, and researchers increasingly discuss the possibility of non-human intelligence, Christians should remember that our worldview already has categories for such beings.
The biblical worldview is not being challenged by these discussions.
It may be vindicated by them.
The question is not whether we are alone.
The question is whether we are prepared to recognize the difference between faithful servants of God and those who rebelled against Him.

For decades, the popular image of an alien visitor was something that arrived from another planet. But listen carefully to what many of the people pushing for disclosure are saying today. Increasingly, the message is not that these beings came here recently. The message is that some of them have always been here.
Think about that.
If a non-human intelligence has been present on Earth throughout human history, influencing civilizations, interacting with people, and shaping belief systems, then Christians should immediately recognize that this is not a new category. The Bible already describes intelligent, non-human beings that have been here since before mankind was created.
Consider Satan himself.
Most people picture Satan as either a ghost-like spirit floating around in another dimension or as a red-skinned monster with horns. Neither image comes from Scripture. The Bible describes Satan as a real created being, an angelic rebel who existed before Adam ever drew his first breath. He was present in Eden. He appeared before God in the Book of Job. He spoke with Christ in the wilderness. He has been operating on this planet longer than any human civilization has existed.
The Apostle Paul even warns that Satan can appear as an angel of light. Not a grotesque monster. Not a horror movie creature. Something attractive. Intelligent. Convincing.
So when modern voices tell us that advanced non-human intelligences have always been here, Christians should not panic. We should pay attention.
The existence of non-human intelligence has never been a challenge to the Christian worldview. The Bible has described a world populated by humans, angels, fallen angels, and demonic powers from the very beginning.
The real question is not whether these beings exist.
The real question is who they are.
If humanity is being prepared to accept the guidance of ancient, powerful non-human intelligences, then Christians must test every claim against Scripture. Any being that denies Christ, contradicts the Gospel, or seeks humanity’s allegiance belongs to the kingdom of darkness regardless of how advanced, beautiful, or impressive it appears.
The Bible’s story has never been that we are alone.
The Bible’s story is that we are in the middle of a spiritual war that began before mankind and will end only when the Lord Jesus Christ returns.

People weren’t expecting judgment.
They were eating, drinking, marrying, and living godless lives with no thought of God.
The ark was right in front of them.
The warning was clear.
But life felt normal… until the rain started.
Look around today.
Sin is celebrated.
Truth is mocked.
God is ignored.
Jesus said His return would be the same. Not chaos, complacency.
This isn’t fear.
It’s a wake-up call.

One of my more speculative views is that Satan and his forces are likely based in the deep places of the earth beneath the oceans.
Why?
Because if there is a gap between Genesis 1:1 and Genesis 1:2, then Satan’s rebellion and subsequent judgment may have occurred during that interval.
Genesis 1:1 says God created the heavens and the earth.
Genesis 1:2 then describes the earth as “without form, and void,” covered in darkness, with the deep waters covering everything.
If Satan was cast down to the earth during that period, there was no dry land. The entire world was submerged beneath the waters of the deep. If that was his place of exile, then the oceans would have been the only realm available to him.
Interestingly, throughout Scripture, the sea is repeatedly associated with chaos, rebellion, judgment, and hostile spiritual powers. The beast of Revelation rises from the sea. The abyss is often connected with deep places beneath the earth. Leviathan is portrayed as a terrifying creature of the waters. Even in the Flood, God uses the deep as an instrument of judgment.
None of this proves Satan lives beneath the oceans. Scripture never explicitly says that.
But if Genesis 1:2 reflects a world already under judgment, and if Satan’s exile occurred before Adam was created, then it is not difficult to imagine that the ancient rebel established his kingdom in the only domain available to him at the time—the deep places beneath the waters.
That would also explain why so many ancient cultures connected gods, monsters, abyssal realms, sea serpents, and underworld kingdoms with the oceans.
I am not presenting this as doctrine. It is speculation.
But if Satan was cast to a water-covered earth before mankind existed, then the deepest parts of the oceans may be the most logical place to look for the remnants of his ancient domain.

The oceans cover most of the planet. They remain largely unexplored. And if an ancient kingdom of exile exists somewhere on this earth, I would not be surprised if it is hidden in the depths.

If the Alien Abduction Narrative Is True, It Is Deeply Evil.
It’s an abomination.
One thing that has always struck me about the UFO/UAP discussion is how often people assume that any non-human intelligence would automatically be more enlightened, more evolved, or more moral than mankind.
Why?
Look at the actual allegations.
For decades, abductees have claimed involuntary capture, medical experimentation, reproductive procedures, genetic harvesting, hybridization programs, memory manipulation, and the creation of human-nonhuman offspring.
If a human government conducted such activities, we would call it monstrous.
What makes this especially relevant today is that discussions about non-human intelligence are no longer limited to fringe circles. Military personnel, intelligence officials, and elected representatives have publicly discussed claims that would have been unimaginable in mainstream politics a generation ago.
Former Congressman Matt Gaetz recently stated that while serving in Congress, a uniformed Army member briefed him on alleged “hybrid breeding programs” involving non-human entities and humans. Gaetz further claimed he was told that some of the humans involved had been abducted from war zones and migrant caravans. Importantly, Gaetz also acknowledged that he never independently verified those claims.
Whether that story is true is not the point.
The point is this:
If even a fraction of the abduction and hybridization narrative were true, we would not be dealing with benevolent space brothers.
We would be dealing with an intelligence engaged in kidnapping, coercion, reproductive exploitation, and deception…and we would be dealing with governments which permitted it in exchange for technology.
From a biblical perspective, the existence of non-human intelligences is not shocking. Scripture already describes a world inhabited by beings other than mankind.
The real question is not whether they exist.
The real question is whether they are trustworthy.
And if the stories of abduction, forced breeding, hybridization, and deception are true, then the moral character being displayed is not the character of a benefactor.
It is the character of a predator.
