We are honoured to participate in the Federal Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (@FMCIDENigeria)'s 8 series of strategic events at #UNGA 80th edition in New York as a member of the @aicollectiveng, advancing a whole-of-ecosystem agenda (talent, platforms, regulations data, and partnerships) for inclusive growth. Highlights: a. Unveiling the @3MTTNigeria@DeepTech_Ready” Global Mentorship (@wesonlineng), a platform that connects Nigerian learners to world-class experts across the world for hands-on, career-ready experience. b. Announcing Deep Learning Indaba 2026 (@DeepIndaba)- the first edition in Nigeria and a landmark moment to galvanise research, community, and Africa-led innovation. c. Facilitating “AI for All”- a practical discussion on how talent pipelines, resilient infrastructure, smart regulation, and cross-sector partnerships can make AI work for Nigeria d. Session co-hosted by @Microsoft with the presence of the Honourable Minister, Dr @bosuntijani and Distinguished Senator, @SalisuShuaibA, Chairman, Senate Committee on ICT & Cybersecurity (I took one of the pictures with the two of them) The takeaway is clear: with coordinated action on skills, compute, open data, and responsible governance, Nigeria can set the pace for African AI that delivers real public value at scale. #datasciencenigeria #NationalAICollective #AIforAll #3MTT #DeepTechReady #DeepLearningIndaba

It’s been a week since Deep Learning Indaba 2025 ended in Kigali, Rwanda, but the energy, the conversations, and the connections made still feel fresh. Wearing my customized AI Girl shirt, I had the chance to meet people from diverse cultures, nationalities, and tech communities each conversation opening a new window into how AI can truly transform Africa. Beyond the smiles and pictures, what stands out most are the insights gathered: ideas that will continue to shape my work and inspire me to build even more impactful contributions to AI growth across the continent. This isn’t just about one conference it’s about a growing movement. And I’m proud to be part of it. Here’s a short recap of my Indaba experience a reminder that while conferences may end, the friendships, lessons, and vision for Africa’s AI future live on. #DeepLearningIndaba #AIGirl #AIinAfrica #Community #Collaboration #AIforGood

First time at Deep Learning Indaba, and Kigali 🇷🇼 set the perfect stage. Throughout the week, I immersed myself in talks, mentorship, hackathons, and cultural exchange, all anchored in one idea: AI shaped by Africa, for Africa. What stood out most: * Technical depth: from attention mechanisms and LLMs to reinforcement learning and AI for science. * The people: brilliant minds solving challenges in finance, health, and society. * My own role: helping run the Human–AI Interaction in the Global Majority workshop sparking conversations about human-centred AI that reflect our contexts. I left feeling proud of the work happening across the continent and excited for the collaborations ahead. #DeepLearningIndaba #AIforAfrica #ResearchToImpact #Indaba2025 #AIinAfrica

The final day at @deepindaba 2025 was nothing short of inspiring. Our very own Dr. @IfeAdebara joined the Voices of Africa panel, bringing powerful insights on how language and community shape Africa’s AI future. At the Community Challenge Awards, innovation took center stage: @AbujaDsn clinched 1st place with Lafiya Lau an AI solution tackling cancer misdiagnosis earning $3,000 to scale their impact. @AiPlus_FUTA took 3rd place with CLEANSIGH, a platform rewarding community cleanups and mapping waste hotspots, winning $1,000. These awards aren’t just cash they’re catalysts to grow bold ideas into real change for Africa. Day 6 reminded us why the Indaba is more than a conference it’s a movement shaping Africa’s AI trajectory. @equalyz_ai was honored to be part of this journey. Here’s to building, collaborating, and dreaming bigger together. #EqualyzAI #DLI2025 #DeepLearningIndaba #VoicesOfAfrica #CommunityChallenge #AIForAfrica #Urunana
