Restricting trans people from the bathroom is a dehumanization tactic that's used to isolate them from society and an old one at that. It's literally Jim Crow for trans people.

While I'm not surprised to see something like this coming from the state who's state prison is a literal plantation, Angola. Im disgusted by the disregard & further dehumanization of homeless lives. Angry & Frustrated with the false narratives and lies that so many believe.

there is a direct line between the dehumanization of Somalis in public discourse and the ways that violence is inflicted on Somalis and our lands. An entire people categorized as nonhuman. The wretched of the earth
This is unreal. @guardian approached the US for comment on a deadly airstrike in Jamaame last year. The US deputy press secretary asked if @guardian would look at “fraud committed by Somalis in the United States?”

RT @WeTheUrban: The dehumanization of Michelle Obama is not an isolated incident. It’s part of a much older story.

One of the things I find troubling is the growing acceptance of hostility and dehumanization in politics. If it is true that Bob Greene, Board Chair of Rocky Mountain PBS, publicly stated that he hopes President Trump suffers a stroke that leaves him unable to walk or speak, that should concern people regardless of political affiliation. We can disagree strongly on policy and leadership, but celebrating or wishing physical harm on political opponents is beneath us as a society. The problem with living inside a political bubble is that it can convince people that extreme rhetoric is normal, acceptable, or even virtuous. It isn’t. Whether it comes from the left or the right, we should reject it. Victor2026.com

How about ad hominem? Or maybe “out-group dehumanization?” Willful ignorance. Dogmatism. I’m sure your big brain knows what all those things mean too

Just you. Millions of people all over the world watch fighting sports. Capitalism and free will rarely exist in dystopian scenarios, you had the choice to not watch. Dystopian usually is massive gov overreach, misery and dehumanization, all staples of socialism.

Yes. The teachings of Islam are rife with murder, rape and dehumanization of the "kefir." And no, I'm not Christian, so save me your whataboutisms.

Political debates are intense, but dragging family members into the gutter with labels like that doesn't actually help fix the problems facing this country. Can’t we focus on the policies without devolving into this level of dehumanization?
