A) The founder is grifting, trying to sell the option to change home screen colors on his Bapp (as you can see in his pinned tweet) for ~$100 each, with a total collection valuation of ~4 BTC (~10% of Bitmap’s current total market cap, or ~25x floor Bitmaps). B) We don’t even have a metaverse yet, but he wants to create states and governments to control the narrative, killing the actual Bitmap ethos and freedom-on-Bitcoin narrative. You can't have both. C) People are dumping floor Bitmaps to buy expensive low-ID ones (hood0) that Bitoshi and co. mostly hold as early inscribers and are now shilling. I took advantage of this to dump and buy more low-cost ones. D) Now he is blocking OGs (including me) with opposing views. As you can understand, with all this, whales are de-risking (including me). But when all this is over soon, there are some great builders, applications, and platforms coming. My only worry is not losing Bitmap core devs with all this shit along the way, but for now we are still on track. TL;DR - key takes: - Cleanse time now: make it or break it. - Stop idolizing and engaging with Bitoshi and his grifts if you don’t want to lose the real devs and stall development for years, if not forever. - The most bullish thing that happened to Puppets was Lefou deleting his X. When Bitoshi does the same, Bitmap will finally be free to run. As long as he is around, he is a big risk. - Bitmap is king 🟧
