𝗣𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘀 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗯𝗼𝗿 𝗨𝗽𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲
I spent some time exploring the updated Builders Harbor on Pharos DevHub and honestly, there is a lot more here than I expected.
This is going to be a slightly technical post because most of these resources are focused on developers and builders, but I'll try to keep it simple.
▶ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗜𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲
One thing I really liked is that Pharos has brought together many essential builder tools in one place.
▸ Hemera SocialScan → Block Explorer
▸ ZAN, Alchemy, Nirvana → RPC Infrastructure
▸ Goldsky → Data Indexing
▸ Chainlink, Supra → Oracle Services
▸ Chainlink CCIP, LayerZero → Cross-Chain Infrastructure
▸ Circle CCTP → Stablecoin Transfers
▸ Safe MultiSig, Fordefi → Wallet & Treasury Management
Instead of jumping between multiple websites, builders can now access many of the core resources they need directly from Builders Harbor.
▶ 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗹𝗲𝘀
This was probably the most interesting section for me.
Pharos has published detailed technical deep dives covering:
▸ DTVM SmartCogent
▸ DTVM Engine
▸ DTVM Stack
▸ Pharos Consensus
▸ Pharos Store
▸ Pharos Network Architecture
These aren't basic documentation pages, they explain how the technology behind Pharos actually works.
▸ DTVM SmartCogent introduces an AI-powered framework that helps with smart contract development, testing, auditing and deployment.
▸ DTVM Engine explains how Pharos achieves deterministic execution while maintaining high performance through its lazy-JIT architecture.
▸ DTVM Stack combines EVM and WASM, allowing developers to build using multiple programming languages while remaining compatible with existing ecosystems.
▸ Pharos Consensus breaks down the network's asynchronous BFT model, removing traditional leader bottlenecks and improving scalability.
▸ Pharos Store focuses on storage efficiency through innovations like ADS Pushdown, Delta Encoding and multi-version storage architecture.
▸ Pharos Network Architecture ties everything together by explaining the network layer, execution layer, consensus, storage system, pipelining and SPN framework.
▶ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗜 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀
A lot of projects talk about performance, scalability and infrastructure.
What stood out to me here is that Pharos is actually showing how these things work through detailed technical resources rather than just making claims.
Whether you're interested in execution engines, consensus design, storage architecture, AI-powered developer tools or the broader network architecture, Builders Harbor gives builders a place to learn and build at the same time.
Current ecosystem stats shown on DevHub:
▸ 60 Projects
▸ 1,000 Developers
▸ 10 Gwei Gas Prices
▸ 17,064,722 Transactions
Overall, this update makes the developer experience much smoother.
Less time searching for resources.
More time understanding the technology.
More time building.
If you're interested in exploring the builder ecosystem, check out the DevHub.
and if you want to go deeper into how the technology behind Pharos actually works, the technical article section is definitely worth reading.
