#ArunachalPradesh | In a landmark step for education reform in Arunachal Pradesh, 16-Yachuli MLA Toko Tatung on Saturday signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with educational technology platform Ekluvya to launch a free digital learning initiative across Keyi Panyor district.
The agreement, witnessed by Vijayan M.J., CEO of the Keyi Panyor Mission Plan, and Aneil Deepak, CEO of Ekluvya, forms part of the Comprehensive Action Plan for Education (CAPE) under the broader Keyi Panyor Mission Plan 2040.
Tatung emphasized that education must be treated as a tool for social transformation rather than a business, highlighting the programme’s focus on strengthening public education, improving infrastructure, enhancing accountability, and ensuring equal opportunities for all children.
The initiative builds on recent efforts in the constituency, including teacher training programmes earlier this month and a special event to empower Anganwadi workers. Under the MoU, Ekluvya will roll out a digital platform offering resources for students from Classes VI to XII, along with preparation modules for competitive exams such as NEET and JEE.
Crucially, the programme will be implemented entirely free of cost, ensuring that government school students gain access to modern learning tools and expert mentoring comparable to those available in private institutions. Organizers say the broader aim is to restore public confidence in government schools and position Keyi Panyor as a model constituency for educational excellence and inclusive development.
