2 of 4 weeks are left until I have to work again. Time for some introspection. I thought and prepared for that by now I’d be back from another life changing thing. That by now this whole journey would have reached its first true climax point. Everything aligned and seemed to be building up to this moment. The loss of this felt like someone pulled the floor out from under your feet. Then the bird thing happened and it already offered so much that the feeling of loss is a distant memory. On top of that, I’ve had another face to face with a stranger. Briefly and unexpected, but deliberate and with precision. And since we’re in June, the repeated pattern of them showing up especially during this month (5th year in a row) exceeded all expectations this year by also having a weirdly mundane contact event (or a simulation of such) with my family leading up to the situation that now all three of them have had dreams about/with extraterrestrials. Now they know. Looking at it all like that makes me realize that it wasn’t really a loss when still having gained incredibly much and similar things I thought were impossible. Sure, maybe the things I could have experienced overseas would have been wilder and more intense. But the uncertainty I had about the journey was unfounded and turned out to be the exact opposite.
