maybe I should just skip the migration this time, just to evade all the hassle and be safe unless projects in Unity 2019 gets deprecated and become unsupported like DynamicBones or SDK2, I feel no urgency on making risky changes by now

I need to either learn, or have someone walk me through how to manually do all the dynamicbones stuff for #ChillOutVR. Idk how to do the physbones conversion, and the converter tool always breaks my fingers when porting.

TPS offers a few new fancy features over DPS, like penetrators that still use full physbones/dynamicbones, but vrcfury adds all the new contact zone reactive parts for you in regards to DPS.

I plan on moving my animation project to unity 2021. So its gonna take some time to pick and choose what i want to grab, convert stuff to dynamicbones and have it set correctly, and then export that and then reinport it. I have custom textures and materials i want saved

Thanks! And that's just the old dynamicbones being converted and new physbones being a bit floppier, especially with the gravity setting. You can auto-convert then in unity and these are the values I use, if it's of any help!

Personally the VRC changes don’t affect me: PhysBones and IK 2.0 made me not need DynamicBones and IKTweaks. BUT I can still see how it’s an issue for others

Actually, Ryzen systems with dual-CCXes (literally anything but the 5700G/5800X/5800X3D) gain a massive performance boost through the unity-universal CoreLimiter mod. Back when DynamicBones were still a thing that could have gotten a quarter or so of your frametime back.

In VRM they are called SpringBones, in the VRChat SDK they are called PhysBones, and then there is DynamicBones which is the older less efficient thing VRC used to use, never heard of wiggle bones
