🎂 This week marks the anniversary of the #SchengenAgreement — a milestone for #EUintegration. Yet one of its core freedoms — the free movement of #workers - is still full of bureaucratic hurdles ➡️ Adopt #EURegulation883 and an ambitious eDeclaration-Regulation now!
A good start: the Council’s position on the #eDeclaration for posted workers aims to make #LabourMobility finally easier, not harder. Good to see Member States supporting the Commission’s good intentions to truly strengthen the single market for services. #SingleMarketStrategy
The #Compet Council’s agreement on the general approach to the #eDeclaration today is a welcome first step towards a more competitive Europe.
We call on the European Parliament to quickly add its support so this much-needed simplification of posting notifications can fully realise its potential to improve the functioning of the single market for companies and workers.

Today at the @Europarl_EN exchange of views on #eDeclaration, our Director Maxime Cerutti called on the EP to ensure that the eDeclaration delivers a single form that reduces administrative burden for companies across Europe.
🇪🇺 Simplifying cross-border work is key to a competitive EU labour market. The #eDeclaration initiative aims to standardise reporting, facilitate the declaration of postings for companies, and reduce administrative costs.
The eDeclaration for posting workers is a step towards a more efficient & digitalised 🇪🇺 labour market. Ceemet, together with European employers’ organisations @ECEG_Brussels@EuroCommerce, supports this initiative & urges @Europarl_EN & Council to approve the Regulation swiftly.
#eDeclaration
At Ceemet's welcome event for new MEPs @Europarl_EN, Stefan Solle asked policy makers for more practical solutions to post workers to other MS. A voluntary #edeclaration is a first step but not enough - more needs to be done to ease labour #mobility!

🇪🇺 EU social partners’ hearing with the @EU_Commission on #eDeclaration: A single, digital tool will reduce the administrative burden on businesses and facilitate compliance.
📉 This is also a good chance for the Commission to keep its promise of reducing administrative burdens by 25%.
