I made a logo for our library! ❤️❤️
I used @canva and the “text to image” AI app in it to help me find the perfect image of a panther reading a book. ❤️ Search the “apps” within Canva and add that one for sure! #middleschoollibraries #elementarylibraries #library #canvatips

📚BOOK TALKS📚 Ss read a book, completed a worksheet, and recorded their book talk! I found book talk worksheets on TPT & used @canva to add a QR code to our @padlet on each worksheet. That way they can record at school or from home! #elementarylibraries #edtech #booktalk

Need a fun after New Year’s activity? We read Smart Cookie using @novel_effect and followed it up with one of the resources on their site! I changed it up a bit… kids drew three things they are a “smart cookie” at or want to be in this new year! #elementarylibraries #readaloud

I also teach #ckla enrichment classes to grades 1-5 each week. Our 3rd and 1st graders are using the @quivervision app to extend their knowledge on the human body with augmented reality games and quizzes! #teacherlibrarian #elementarylibraries #edtechteacher #edtechtools

I also teach #ckla enrichment classes, and for #poetry, we played Poetry for Neanderthals, and had such a great time! You can only use one syllable words to describe your object. Accidentally use a two syllable word and you get hit with the no no stick. 🤣 #elementarylibraries

Ss learned how to use @googlemaps! We read a book, Gross Places, and then found those places on Google Maps! Kids found #nonfictionbooks in our #library, so they could find the real places on Google Maps on their own time! #teacherlibrarians #elementarylibraries #edtechtools

Library fundraiser: Families can buy a 🎂Birthday Book for $25. I get to choose a new library book, put a label with the child’s name and birthday message in the cover, and they get to be the first person to check out that library book. #teacherlibrarians #elementarylibraries
