Use an E-Mail Client that has that feature. But it's very simple. SMTP doesn't have the ability. When it's send the other server it's gone. You can only hold it back but this will delay your E-Mails. I use emClient. There is an Delay that you can configure before the E-Mail is really send.

We are familiar with eMClient and axios, so let me introduce Trufflehog, the new kid on the block. Trufflehog made headlines during the recent "Shai-Hulud" campaign, in which threat actors used it to search for passwords and sensitive information. [1] According to the Trufflehog GitHub page: "TruffleHog can look for secrets in many places, including Git, chats, wikis, logs, API testing platforms, object stores, filesystems, and more." Recently, we responded to an incident in which Microsoft Defender identified compromised service principal accounts in a customer tenant. During the investigation, the sign-ins into both accounts with the User-Agent "Trufflehog" were a clear indicator that both service principals had been compromised. Trufflehog has a module for the authentication with service principal secrets. [3] For teams monitoring Azure logs, this User Agent might be another one you want to look out for. See the article on the Wiz Cloud Threat Landscape here as well. Lol, I was just thinking how almost every piece of essential software I use bugs at least once a day (word, emclient, powerpoint, mobile hotspot, apple search, etc.).

Is it just me, or are there no good Windows email clients these days? Classic outlook is clunky and AI-laden, New Outlook can't even consistently manage standard IMAP accounts, Mailbird somehow regularly gets stuck downloading file attachments, Emclient is too expensive, etc

The "new" Outlook for Mac is the world's worst app in the world. Did @MSFT_Business make it deliberately bad, to force me to switch to the Outlook Web App (OWA)? Or, is this just another example of @doctorow's enshitification? In any case, I've switched to @emclient, which is great.

Just tap it again and everything returns to normal size. (I use on Windows so that's the platform I'm referring to here)

I immediately thought of @emclient because it handles this really well. There's a "touch" button on the taskbar next to the minimize, maximize, and close buttons, and all it does is space everything in the UI out a bit more to make it easier if you're using touch.

The electron thing is useless. People use desktop email clients for a reason, otherwise we can just do the webmail thing. You should partner with others (@emclient would be a personal suggestion) to allow good Proton access on a desktop app.

Love this direction! Quantum-resistant encryption privacy first is the future and @cellframenet is leading the way on the blockchain side with post-quantum security built from the ground up. Synergies like this show where the internet is headed. $CELL

Outlook je už 2 roky nepouzitelny. Presla jsem na emclient v dobe, kdy nový Outlook neumel certifikat s podpisem. Windows a jeho vynucovane aktualizace me donutily prejit na MacOs.

Send via Outlook for Web, Outlook desktop apps, or another email client like emClient, and turn on the read receipt option in the message compose window. Note: the email account you are sending from generally cannot be a free-tier email address (like a standard gmail or outlook account), but rather must be a paid / professional / institutional one (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft 365’s non-free tier, etc.). Best $7 a month one can spend, IMO.

Thunderbird. If you can give up the open-source requirement, try emClient (pretty good) or MailBird (less good, but still better than Outlook).
