Something that has been in my mind for a while now
We started EmailStack to build the future of email marketing.
And we started by buying and operating great products. But the rules have changed. AI has collapsed the cost of building, accelerated innovation, and made speed a weapon.
Legacy advantage is no longer and advantage.
Success comes from distribution via a community, brand, trust, and deep domain expertise.
This opened up a massive questions for us: will the marketer of tomorrow still be using the tools of today? Or the tools being built right now, with AI at their core?
So I now believe acquiring alone isn’t enough. Some products will adapt and grow. Others will quietly become obsolete. The future of email marketing can’t just be bought - it has to be built, deliberately, and as importantly by experts.
So EmailStack now runs on two engines.
1. We buy enduring businesses.
2. And we build what doesn’t exist yet.
The future of email marketing cannot only be acquired, it has to also be built.
