I did instigate the project, but I was inspired by EmberCLI and folks like @stefanpenner who helped us get started, and supported by a ton of great people that contributed to the project like @hanslatwork @Brocco @AlanAgius4 and so many others.

Big shout-out to the team behind ember-exam! Thanks to them we @ClarkGermany were able to more than *halve* our frontend CI run time.
Setting it up literally took less than half an hour.

That aside, however, EmberCLI Deploy isn’t supposed to replace that simple use case you might have. No one “needs” to use it. But it is good at automating away those tasks that deployments tend to end up needing. So, if that time comes, it can be a good alternative.

I love our annual EmberCLI Deploy Summit, every year at EmberConf. It's a shame it's not in person but this is the next best thing. Here's hoping for our whiskey and Thai evening in Portland next year ♥️
