#MeenakshiGoyat #IndianSports #SportsNews #WomenInSports #AthleteLife #MeritMatters #SportsCommunity #EqualRecognition #MediaCoverage #ProudIndian #India #Trending #SportsUpdate #TalentWins #SupportAthletes

Selective outrage laid bare: Tandur silenced, Kotdwar spotlighted : Amjed Ullah Khan, Spokesman, Majlis Bachao Tahreek (MBT), said the nation is witnessing selective outrage and selective empathy when two comparable acts of humanity receive starkly different responses. In Tandur, Vikarabad District (Telangana), Noor Mohammed Qureshi was brutally killed and his son Habeeb Qureshi was grievously injured on 26th Dec 2025 while saving a Hindu youth, Kittu, from a ganja-fuelled gang attack. This incident not only exposed law & order failure, but also embodied the true spirit of Ganga-Jamuni Tehzeeb—a Muslim family risking and losing life to protect a Hindu neighbour. Yet, Mr. Khan said, mainstream media, civil society voices, and political leadership largely ignored the case. He expressed anguish that even Asaduddin Owaisi (MP) & AIMIM President who visited Tandur for municipal election campaigning, did not visit the bereaved family. In contrast, in Kotdwar, Uttarakhand on 26th Jan 2026 a gym owner Deepak Kumar protecting a Muslim shopkeeper from harassment by men claiming links to Bajrang Dal rightly received nationwide media coverage, political statements, and public praise. Mr. Khan said MBT welcomes and applauds recognition of humanity anywhere, but strongly questions why a martyrdom for communal harmony in Telangana is met with silence, while a similar act elsewhere becomes headline news. “If courage and compassion are to be celebrated, they must be celebrated equally, irrespective of geography, religion, or political convenience,” he asserted, demanding justice, recognition, and dignity for the family of Noor Mohammed Qureshi. #JusticeWithoutBias #CommunalHarmony #GangaJamuniTehzeeb #HumanityAboveReligion #InsaniyatZindaHai #EndSelectiveOutrage #HonorHumanity #EqualRecognition #StandForUnity #NoorQureshi #DeepakKumar #Tandur #Kotdwar #Telangana #Uttarakhand

With utmost respect, I urge the Hon’ble Sports Ministers @mansukhmandviya @khadseraksha and concerned authorities to kindly review the Arjuna Award nominations, as Para Badminton currently has no representation. My sporting journey includes: • 5 medals at the World Championships & Asian Para Games (2021–2024) • 4th place at Paralympics 2024, narrowly missing the podium • Current World No. 1 • 89 international medals across BWF events Recognition should be guided by performance, consistency, and contribution to Indian sport. I sincerely hope the principles of fairness and inclusivity continue to guide our sporting honours. 🇮🇳🏸♿ @Media_SAI @IndiaSports #ArjunaAward #ParaBadminton #EqualRecognition #Paralympics

The international community continues to invest in Mogadishu, advocating for a democracy that barely exists. In reality, elders are secluded in rooms to select a president—nowhere near one person, one vote. Meanwhile, Somaliland holds free and fair elections where citizens choose their leaders. Yet, we are the ones left waiting for recognition. Where’s the logic in that?” #InternationalJustice #EqualRecognition #DemocracyMatters #FairTreatmentForAll #DoubleStandards

The Matilda effect thrives on invisibility. When women’s contributions go unrecognised, their work fades into the background, making it easier to erase their impact from history. But here’s the good news—we have the power to change the narrative and ensure women receive the credit they deserve. Take Taylor Swift, for example. When Scooter Braun acquired her master recordings without her consent, he profited from her work and she lost control over her own music. Instead of backing down, Swift took matters into her own hands—re-recording her albums as “Taylor’s Version” and reclaiming her art and ownership. Her bold move not only restored her rights but also set a powerful precedent for artist empowerment in the music industry. This is how she overcame the Matilda effect. But the fight for recognition extends far beyond music. In classrooms, boardrooms, and research labs, women’s ideas are often overlooked or attributed to men. Changing this reality requires action: 👉 Give credit where it’s due: Be intentional about amplifying women’s voices and acknowledging their contributions in real time. 👉 Challenge bias in recognition: Women remain underrepresented in industry awards, research citations, and funding opportunities. Advocate for fair recognition processes that highlight their work alongside their male counterparts. 👉 Teach “her” story: Many female pioneers who shaped science, technology, and culture have been overshadowed or left out of history books. Names like Ada Lovelace, Katherine Johnson, and Rosalind Franklin should be as well-known as Einstein and Newton. 👉 Support and uplift: Women shouldn’t have to fight for basic recognition. From mentorship programmes to policies ensuring equal pay and leadership opportunities, systemic change calls for active support at every level. Bias isn’t dismantled overnight, but every action—no matter how small—counts. The next time you witness a brilliant woman making an impact, make sure she gets the credit she has rightfully earned. Because when we uplift women, we elevate humanity. #BreakTheBias #MatildaEffect #WomenDeserveCredit #EqualRecognition #HerStoryMatters

How Is the Matilda Effect Still Relevant in Recent Times? The Matilda effect isn’t just some history lesson. Women across industries are making groundbreaking moves, yet their achievements often get overshadowed, with male counterparts getting the credit. Take One Direction, for example. For years, Simon Cowell was praised as the mastermind behind the band. What about Nicole Scherzinger’s role? It was completely erased. Flashback to 2013: During a Midnight Memories livestream, Harry Styles straight up asked Cowell whose idea it was to form the band. Without missing a beat, Cowell took full credit, claiming it only took him 10 minutes. Sounds convincing, right? A whole nine years later, the truth came out. In 2022, The X Factor UK released previously unseen footage that shows guest judge Nicole Scherzinger actually putting the band together. It’s a textbook case of the Matilda effect where history gets rewritten to favour powerful figures—usually men. The truth may emerge years later, but why should women have to fight for the recognition they already deserve? And this isn’t just a one-time thing. It happens in film, business, science, sports—you name it. Women’s work gets downplayed while men in similar roles get the spotlight. It’s time to flip the script. Let’s acknowledge, credit, and celebrate the women shaping today’s world—because history doesn’t have to keep repeating itself. Have you experienced the Matilda effect? Share your story. #MatildaEffect #WomeninFilm #HerStoryMatters #EqualRecognition

🚨 Recognition of Professional Accountants in the Income Tax Bill, 2025 🚨 The Indian Cost Accounts Service (ICoAS) is a prestigious Group A Central Civil Service under the Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure. It is one of the six organized finance and accounting services of the Government of India and the only accounting service exclusively manned by professional accountants—Cost & Management Accountants (CMAs) and Chartered Accountants (CAs). As per ICoAS, a professional accountant is defined as a Cost & Management Accountant (CMA) or a Chartered Accountant (CA). 🔹 Key Question: Why does the The Income Tax Bill, 2025 recognize only Chartered Accountants (CAs) as "Accountants," while both ICoAS and CBDT (@IncomeTaxIndia) function under the Ministry of Finance? 🔹 Time for Change! CMAs play a crucial role in costing, financial management, and taxation. Isn't it time for equal recognition of CMAs in accounting matters under tax laws? 📢 Calling finance professionals, policymakers, and stakeholders to share their views! @PMOIndia @nsitharaman @nsitharamanoffc @FinMinIndia @IncomeTaxIndia @ICMAICMA @indCMAs #ICoAS #CMA #CA #IncomeTaxBill2025 #EqualRecognition #Finance #Accountants #Taxation #PolicyReform #MinistryOfFinance
