It doesn't look that distinct now, but in one week this space will be transformed into the #designloft at #Eval19. Want to learn #design skills? Have fun? join us any hour from 9-5pm on Friday November 15th #eval
The failure I shared at #eval17 was when I decided I knew where to start internal capacity building for team members directly working on programs. But it wasnt what they needed to do their jobs right now. Helped me learn to consider the immediate need of my audience. #EvalTwitter
Awesome point! @AZ_Eval_Network is building in virtual opportunities such as a virtual book club and a cross city virtual #Eval17 debrief to support access for all #EvalTwitter
One of the issues I had was that most of the meetings happened in DC during or around rush hour time 5-7pm so it was challenging for me to travel to DC from the suburbs plus personal commitments.
Just finished my first #dataparty following @EvaluationMaven workshop at #eval17. I joined the program team virtually, equipped with my Excel dashboards (thx @AnnKEmery). No one died of data overload, and we came up with great interpretations and potential actions! #eval
Answer: meeting great people to learn from, bounce ideas off of, collaborate with, and to nerd-out with. #Eval17 was so fruitful, and I attribute so much of that to #EvalTwitter
I told myself I'd limit the presentations I'd do this year for #eval18 since I did a paper, demo, and was discussant twice at #eval17. Right now it's looking like I'm going to submit four presentations though... 😐
Check out this AEA365 blog on Twitter activity during #Eval17 and helpful tips on using R for this type of analysis. Thanks @arcevaluation! ow.ly/T5f130hv8Wb
Happy New Year, everybody! 2017 was a big year for EDIT team: we were a part community events like #WeSeeYou17 & the Chicago Project PrIDE Community Forum and shared findings at #SCRA17, #Eval17, #DIscience17, #APHA2017 and many other conferences.
