The FAANGS companies are all run by lib-dems. As with Hollywood, major league sports & the media. The Democrats/corporate media complex are the party of the rich. Being for the “resistance” is being FOR big corporate & AGAINST those who grow our food & enlist to fight our wars.

The Mag 7 is becoming the Brics of tradeable concepts: an incongruous group with diverging fundamentals and fortunes. As the Faangs gave way to Mag 7 (who still speaks of Netflix?) the Mag 7 is starting to give way to something else, too ft.com/content/8e4af8b4-34df…

Weekly update: Finished @sama's Startup Playbook Spoke to more users Researched another competitor Learnings: CEO has 1 job - to make the company win This can be done through - setting the vision, evangelise the company to everyone, hire good and manage better, raise money, have high standards The company has to be the priority There will be a lot of disasters, CEO’s job is to fix them No first-time CEO knows what they are doing, so do it anyway Just ask or just do it Be optimistic Make your employees religiously believe in your company Hiring is one of your most important job Don’t hire unless you have to, but if you do, hire great people, initially at least Look for raw intelligence and a track record of getting things done, not just experience Hire patiently, fire quick Don’t worry about competitors, unless they are beating you at sales Make enough money so that the founders can live on ramen—as quickly as you can Don’t try to solve problems by throwing money at it Investors are looking to invest in the next FAANGs Anything that is not a ”yes” is a “no”. An important key to being good at pitching is to make your story as clear and easy to understand as possible All you need is a great idea, a great team, a great product, and great execution Goals for this week: Speak to more users Research another competitor Start work on a basic prototype @_AthenaVC @RobAthenaVC

I would guess that most ex-FAANGs are not used to owning anything. Small cogs in a big machine.

Which is what I was talking about. It's hard to make impact in large companies. Especially the faangs. Money you shall make. Impact you most likely won't.

Yep. And then there is the other part where @TheDumbTechGuy is talking about the realities of FAANGs, whatever your goal is, and people are not having it 😂 It’s just the truth

Google is one of the worst to work for. Almost all the faangs are.

Another potential thesis is that we don't get a bubble pop that leads to a large drawdown, but that this does mark the end of the 'Mega Cap' era (MAG7, FAANGs, etc) and Small Caps simply out perform for multiple months or years.

It’s a joke but somehow think also true: Mangos will outperform Faangs

Yep the faangs are all like that...it will be difficult to build on your carrier. So many people go there to make the money and the leave to start something on their own. Kevin Naughton is a typical example. He is doing his own thing now

FAANGS versus MANGOS. It is no longer even a debate. Facebook/@Meta and @Google have retained their position, but for how long?
