Finaly,combining #factbasedmodeling with #rulespeak (derived logic) is a sound basis 2 model any domain. Unfortunately,uni’s r not teaching this anymore (#datascience #AI r the new lovebabies).Cynical twist is that these lovebabies will never mature without proper curated data

#factbasedmodeling should be the basis for modeling any domain (universe of discourse). Wasn’t it Edsger Dijkstra that said ‘the purpose of abstraction is not to be vague, but to create a new semantic level in which one can be absolutely precise’ (1/4)

We will slowly return to data management practices as people learn this lesson. AI and ML are even more sensitive to crap data than people and BI

Absolutely! @stevolkmann a flawless explanation of FCO-IM and applied it accordingly in his customer assignment. For me this was strong proof of the power of fact-based modeling, especially of the feasibility of the modeling procedure. #factbasedmodeling
