CONFIRMED: California Democrats and Karen Bass’ administration ALTERED an official after-action report and DELETED EVIDENCE tied to the Pacific Palisades fires — all to shield themselves from liability.
This isn’t rumor anymore.
It’s now backed by an investigation from Los Angeles Times.
Rick Caruso:
“The LA Times just exposed a massive cover-up: Firegate. A deliberate effort to cover up the findings in the after-action report by changing the after-action report. This was deliberately and intentionally done to shield the LA Fire Department, Mayor Bass, and her administration from the failures of the fires on January 7th. The type of changes that were made include the fact that the earlier fire on January 1 reignited on January 7, and the fire department officers were ordered off the area. They deleted all of those references from the after-action report. This is an intentional cover-up to reduce accountability, the lack of transparency. The culture of corruption in the city of Los Angeles is despicable and is out of control. Mayor Bass and her administration and the leadership of the fire department should be held accountable. And it’s certainly not fair to the hardworking men and women of the LA Fire Department that serve this city so greatly every day. Read the LA Times story, Sunday paper, the front section, and today’s paper in the California section about the battalion chief who was upset that the changes were made.”

Investigative reporting from the @latimes exposes the redrafting of the official After-Action Report of the Los Angeles Fire Department to hide failures and mistakes before releasing it to the public.
Major changes were made to cover up failures. Los Angeles officials, including Mayor Bass’s office, need to be held accountable.
The culture of corruption in City Hall stinks and must end.
