Neerja Bhanot, a 22-year-old flight attendant, was on duty aboard Pan Am Flight 73 when it was hijacked during a stopover on 5 September 1986. The hijackers ordered her to collect the passengers’ passports so they could identify and target individuals of certain nationalities, particularly Americans. Recognizing the grave danger this posed, Neerja, along with other crew members, quietly hid many of the American passports. Some were slipped under seats, while others were discreetly discarded down the rubbish chute, making it far more difficult for the hijackers to single out their intended victims. After nearly 17 hours of terror, chaos suddenly erupted inside the aircraft. Neerja quickly opened an emergency door. Though she had the chance to escape first, she instead chose to remain behind, heroically helping passengers — especially unaccompanied children — to safety. Her extraordinary bravery and selflessness cost her her life. Neerja’s courage not only saved countless lives that day but also played a key role in preventing the plane from taking off. One of the children she helped, who was just seven years old at the time, later grew up to become a captain for a major airline. He credits Neerja with inspiring his career and says he owes every single day of his life to her sacrifice.

This guy has exposed a trick of IndiGo Airlines. He had a flight to Pune at 6:00 AM. He reached the airport on time, but his web check-in wasn't working. At the counter, he was told that web check-in had to be completed at least 24 hours before departure. By then, the flight was full. Now his question is: if the number of tickets sold is equal to the number of seats available on the flight, how did someone else get his seat? Are airlines selling more tickets than the number of seats available? His second question is: if someone books a ticket just 4–5 hours before departure due to an emergency, how can they possibly complete web check-in 24 hours in advance? Airlines can easily say they'll move passengers to another flight, but the passenger is the one who suffers — through lost time, mental stress, missed commitments, and urgent meetings.

India allowed a Pakistani flight to enter its airspace because we care about human lives. The same cannot be said about your country, whose generals and politicians are demons who seem to love dead bodies. This happened last year when an IndiGo flight requested permission from your ATC to enter Pakistani airspace, but Pakistan’s ATC denied the request. For Pakistan, human lives appear to have no value.
Today, a Pakistani commercial flight Fly Jinah entered Indian territory due to a terrible storm.

Europeans always try to say Soccer is more popular than American sports and their fans are more passionate, but as you can see they aren’t even willing to travel for the “biggest tournament in the world”

Did you book a flight home after the group games or were you delusional to think you’d make it out?

Book a flight for the whole family to Nigeria and leave her here without passport and go back
I just got off on phone on an hour call with my friend who relocated to the UK with her family. She tells me no that her 14 year old daughter no longer listen to her. She speaks to her rudely and refuses to help with chores.🥺 She has once called social worker /police on her father hence the Father is withdrawn from her matter after that incident. My friend is almost crying on the phone. She said she is exhausted and doesn't know what to do. Please what can she do to redeem this situation?

On my flight this morning, an older man greeted me with "The best of men." I smiled and greeted him, and we shook hands. It turned out we were seat mates. We gisted throughout the flight. When we landed, I asked his origin and he said Delta. I asked his village and he mentioned my mom's village. I told him I was from there. He asked my maiden name and I told him. His eyes lit up in familiarity. I asked his family name and he told me. I told him my mom would know his family because they all know themselves. I called my mom and told her somebody wanted to greet her. It didn't take her 2 mins to identify his family. Ladies and Gentlemen, I've been gisting with my second cousin all through the flight. My mom and his mom are first cousins. We've exchanged contact. I'll go and block him at his office next week. Life 😊
