As America approaches #USA250, I find myself thinking about heroes.
Not celebrities. Not politicians. Heroes.
For me, that has always been Neil Armstrong.
Armstrong flew 78 combat missions during the Korean War as a U.S. Navy pilot before becoming a test pilot, X-15 pilot, astronaut, and ultimately the first man on the Moon.
The Moon was not the beginning of his story. It was the culmination of a lifetime of competence, courage, and responsibility.
History matters. If we forget the people who built the future, how can we hope to build our own?

As God’s converted believer we no longer serve a master of disguise(Satan) who sew lies and deceit(through false knowledge) with the purpose of keeping us separated from God, by holding us hostage to our own greed and self absorbency to gain for self, but in covenant we serve the one and true master(God the Father) whose mains interest is the care of our soul, that it reflects the likeness of Christ through regeneration, by the tokens He provided to build our faith in Him, to bare forth fruit and express(reciprocate) Charity in kind.

The Law of sin and death keeps man bound to the world in repetition of death unto death, but the law of grace and truth keep the righteous tethered to God in the eternal cycle of life unto life.
Apart from covenant death is the unconverted chosen fate, but when the converted choose covenant as a permeant life style then the life of Christ becomes the chosen foundation that builds our faith through the power of His grace to keep us tether to God forever.
