gw lulusan UI, lulus2 ngomong inggris secara profesional masih GABISA. i even had to write down my interviews intro in a notepad so i could remember every sentence. gw coba belajar2 bing dr freesource youtube gt tp masih gagap, turns out i lacked experience speaking in english on daily basis. so where did that opportunity come from?
pas dpt kerja di company SG
i cant even speak english fluently (10/100 speaking skill) yet they just let me in. loe bayangin ajah org meeting sm gweh bukannya ngerti yg w jelasin malah makin bing0ng ???? how does that sound
pas masuk ke kantor di kasih training COURSE ENGLISH, company awak yg bayar. manager w blg gw hrs bs ngmg bing dalam waktu 1 bulan (cemas ga tuh) tp akhirnya bisa. mrk ga bingung lg kl ngmg sm gw although i still make grammatical errors both in speaking & typing tp kata manager awak "so what???? at least i understand u now"
look where it got me ๐๐ remote working overseas freelance.
opportunity itu dateng ke org yg usaha intinya, yg penting udh usaha ya pst ada aja rejekinya.
jd kt gweh sih.... klo lo dpt privilege dpt kerja overseas, bs bahasa inggris, good for you man. many of my overseas companies also said the same, one of the reasons they wont accept Indonesian devs is the language barrier. Its a hard truth, yes, but bashing applicants for a job THAT YOU POSTED ONLINE IN YOUR OWN ACCOUNT telling them its a skill issue (while they can clearly see your tweet) is another thing for me. you can be a decent human being by educating them yet you choose to bash them online??? well ๐๐๐
