Thanks to @futurelectorg and @FuturelectEA I am honored and deeply grateful to be part of the 2nd cohort of the Futurelect East Africa Public Leadership Program.
The first seminar weekend was an incredible experience filled with honest conversations, powerful ideas, and the opportunity to both learn and unlearn alongside some truly brilliant and committed young leaders from across the region.
I left the weekend with new friendships, fresh perspectives, and a renewed sense of responsibility about the kind of leadership our societies need. If the first seminar is anything to go by, the next eight months of this journey will be transformative. I am grateful for the space, the people, and the opportunity to grow together.
This weekend, I was honoured to be part of the Women in Public Office Programme Design Retreat for Futurelect led by the phenomenal @LindiMazibuko.
Oh, man! What an experience. Our country is going to be alright 🇿🇦❤️🇿🇦
Now, back to 012!

I’m honoured, happy, and excited to have been accepted into the Futurelect Women in Public Office Programme (2025/26 cohort).
Over the next months, I will be documenting this journey openly on my platforms: the learning, the thinking, and the realities of being a young woman navigating leadership and political participation in this country, as we move toward the 2026 Local Government Elections.
May this journey encourage more young women to step forward boldly and believe that leadership is possible. 🌱
