Hybrid AR content authoring.
Combining the Cesium Google 3D map tiles & the Google Geospatial API to author AR content at or near a location.
The @GoogleARVR Geospatial Creator is great for remote authoring, but I always need to go and check at the actual location & authoring content accurately can be challenging from ground level in AR.
This prototype combines #AR & 3D maps to try to optimise placing content.

Outdoor to Indoor AR navigation 🚶
This prototype uses the Google Geospatial API for outdoor navigation and transitions to Immersal to continue the navigation indoors.

Hands free AR navigation experiment on Apple Vision Pro
Set the destination on your phone, the phone tracks your position and you will receive instructions as you move along the route
The Google Streetview API is used to give the user visual landmarks to let them know they are on the right path

Leveraging VPS, this prototype seamlessly shifts from a smartphone's first-person view to a virtual camera's bird's-eye view. Developed with reference to Watch Dogs, it turns reality into something akin to an open-world game.

First experiments using the Google Geospatial API to place objects on the Apple Vision Pro.
A phone running the API tells the AVP the current location and location of the placed anchor.
A hacky but functional solution to the AVP not supporting any VPS yet.

Visualizing user location using Cesium & Google's 3D map tiles in Unity. The user's location is established using the Geospatial API and sent to the remote viewers device.
The accuracy of the #geospatialAPI still surprises me, the remote viewer can tell which side of a small side street you are walking on.
