Hi Light leaf! Great questions. The glycerine is manufactured in North America, its derived from vegetable oils, such as soybean and canola, through a multi-step purification process. The process includes hydrolysis, followed by distillation and refining to remove impurities and achieve a purity level of 99.7%, meeting both USP and FCC specifications.
We haven't tested our final product yet by a third party lab yet. The FDA did run multiple tests for heavy metals and otherc ontaminants to allow us to export.
That said, we use 4 ingredients: pure canadian made highproof alcohol (comes with lab analysis for purity), glycerine (also comes with lab analysis) distilled water and pine pollen that we harvest ourselves. We do everything in high quality glass vessels and stainless steal equipment. We are highly regulated by local governing bodies so the chances of there being contaminants are quite low.
But we will be running lab analysis to quantify the active compounds such as polyphenol, flavonoid and other plant based steroids content which we are very excited about! We will also be checking for contaminants just to add sprinkles on top.
