⚡️🇫🇷 La France accélère dans l'hypersonique pour pérenniser sa dissuasion nucléaire 🇫🇷☢️
Le 10 juin 2026, la DGA a annoncé la commande du développement du missile de croisière hypersonique Air-sol nucléaire 4ème génération (ASN4G), qui équipera les chasseurs bombardiers RAFALE B et M au standard F5 des Forces aériennes stratégiques (FAS) et de la Force aéronavale nucléaire (FANu) à l’horizon 2035.
Le communiqué, bien que lapidaire, a été illustré avec une photo de basse résolution montrant le lancement d’un objet jusque là inconnu, présenté comme le démonstrateur THEMIS.
On comprend donc que ce démonstrateur préfigure le futur missile opérationnel, et que les résultats du ou des tirs ont été jugés suffisamment satisfaisants pour lancer le développement final de l’ASN4G, qui sera une véritable arme de rupture.

The supposedly uninterceptable Russian ones have been shot down multiple times in Ukraine.
Nothing is fool proof and it depends how many they send but they aren't near as badass as they (and the money hungry US defense firms) want you to think.
