Last night, my high school coach, Steve Rachal @coachrachal315, got career win #700 by defeating 4A (Division 2) Abramson (17-5) out of New Orleans, 64-15. He followed that up by getting #701 with the boys right after who defeated Northlake Christian 65-55. Coach Rachal isn't one to boast but I will take this time to give him his flowers. I've worked and been around Hall of Fame coaches and to me, he is one of the best coaches in the state of Louisiana, boys or girls. To achieve 700 wins with the talent he has had over the last 9 years back at Family Christian is a true testament to the caliber of coach he is. There isn't a coach in the state who could do what he does with what he has. Truly one of the best if not the best at getting the most out of his players. This season he is led by ultra talented 7th grader E'Myrie Warren @myriewarren2 and returns only one starter from his state semifinals team from last season.
