In my point of view if they would continue with inline4 there would be no results either because the package had no room for improvement anymore. Only few poles and podiums means nothing for a brand like yamaha. They choose hard but more productive way.2026 is full testing season

There is no such thing as a V4 GLE. The 4 cyclinder engines have an in-line arrangement not a V configuration. It called an inline4 or an I4. You're welcome. There are v8 turbo charged non AMG options by the way
