After dinner we stayed in Gornji Grad to experience the area after dark — and it’s absolutely magical:
📮 Top-left: The breathtaking panoramic night view over Zagreb — thousands of city lights sparkling below us, with the illuminated spires of Zagreb Cathedral rising above the rooftops. This is one of the most beautiful night views in the city.
📮 Top-right: Strossmayer Promenade by night — the historic 19th-century walkway is softly lit by vintage lanterns, creating a romantic and peaceful atmosphere high above the busy city.
📮 Bottom-left: Lotrščak Tower illuminated at night — this 13th-century defensive tower is beautifully lit and remains one of the most important symbols of Upper Town. It has stood here for over 700 years.
📮 Bottom-right: The glowing lanterns along the cobblestone paths — these historic lights give the old streets a fairy-tale feeling and have guided locals and visitors for generations.
The contrast between the quiet historic streets and the sparkling modern city below is something special. We’re really enjoying this peaceful evening walk.

Hard agree. It also hits crazy coming out of the mouth of an actor who demanded reshoots so he could leave as soon as possible, then immediately started slagging the show off on SNL.
