ในสมรภูมิธุรกิจยุคปัจจุบัน คำว่า “ความเร็วและประสิทธิภาพ” กลายเป็นคัมภีร์หลักที่ทุกองค์กรใช้ขับเคลื่อนธุรกิจ การนำ AI เข้ามาให้พนักงานใช้งาน เพื่อให้พนักงานสามารถทำงานเสร็จไวขึ้น ประหยัดเวลาได้มากขึ้น ..นี่ดูเหมือนจะเป็นชัยชนะครั้งใหญ่ของฝ่ายบริหาร แต่ในอีกมุมหนึ่ง มันไม่ได้หมายความว่าบริษัทจะเข้าใจว่า ความสะดวกสบาย และประสิทธิภาพเหล่านั้น กำลังแลกมาด้วยต้นทุนบางอย่างที่องค์กรต้องจ่าย

ผลการศึกษาพบสถิติที่น่าสนใจว่า พนักงานที่นำ AI มาช่วยงานสามารถประหยัดเวลาได้เฉลี่ยสูงถึง 2.3 ชั่วโมงต่อวัน แต่ในขณะเดียวกัน ผลวิจัยก็สะท้อนความจริงอันน่าอึดอัดใจที่ตามมาด้วยว่า พนักงานถึงครึ่งหนึ่ง (50%) ยอมรับว่าตัวเองพึ่งพา AI มากเกินไป และมีถึง 39% ที่ระบุตรงๆ ว่า การพึ่งพาเทคโนโลยีนี้กำลังทำให้พวกเขาฉลาดน้อยลงหรือโง่ลง
ริช เฟลดราน (Rich Veldran) ซีอีโอของ GoTo มองว่า ตัวเลขที่ย้อนแย้งนี้คือสัญญาณชัดเจนว่า AI ในที่ทำงาน อาจสร้างปัญหาใหม่

46% ของพนักงาน Gen Z ยอมรับว่า AI กำลังทำลายทักษะการทำงานและทำให้พวกเขารู้สึกฉลาดน้อยลง
50% เชื่อว่า การพึ่งพา AI มากเกินไปจะส่งผลเสียต่อความก้าวหน้าในอาชีพการงานในระยะยาวของพวกเขา
