Thankfully, the Malaysian Army manages to retain its reputation with U.S. allies & partners by rotationally hosting Indo-Pacific army conferences (eg. IPACC, IPAMS, & SELF), & these events are supported by Australia, Brunei, Japan, India, Indonesia, Singapore, the UK, & others.

🇺🇸🇲🇾🇯🇵GEN Arai, CS, #JGSDF, participated in the Indo-Pacific Armies Chiefs Conference (IPACC). Through visits to Malaysian Army units and exchanges of views with chiefs of staff from participating countries, mutual trust was built, and consensus was reached on further strengthening cooperation for peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
Additionally, a bilateral meeting was held with General George, Chief of Staff of the US Army, where they exchanged views on further development of trust between the allied nations of Japan and the United States, as well as the future direction of bilateral cooperation.

Ex. yung mga nasa UAE, pwede mag-apply as stewardess sa mga airlines at HS lang qualification. Sa PH ang qualification kailangan degree holder ka. Dami nag-iyakan diyan sa IPAMS. Hahaha

The IPAMS culminated with significant activities and discussions. The Commander RFMF Maj-Gen Jone Kalouniwai officially closed the event and expressed his gratitude to all the participants for their efforts in promoting a free and peaceful Indo-Pacific region.

The 10th annual Senior Enlisted Forum (SELF) as part of IPAMS is co-hosted by the Fijian Army and @USARPAC, attracting Senior Enlisted Leaders (SELs) from across the Pacific. The SELF program was added in 2014, and this year drew the largest number among senior SELs with 16 participating. The seminar serves as a valuable platform for SELs from across the Pacific to exchange ideas, share best practices and forge stronger partnerships.
