A quick one-week trip to my beloved Lebanon — time with family and, of course, some of the best food in the world. Professionally, it was an incredibly productive week. Together with IRCAD Liban/ Levant hospital, we achieved two new milestones in Lebanon: performing the first robotic formal hepatectomy and completing the highest number of robotic hepatobiliary procedures ever performed in a single week, including a Whipple procedure, subtotal pancreatectomy, and spleen-preserving distal pancreatectomy.
