3 engines. 1 transmission. 54,000 miles. $16,000 repair bill, and
@Jeep just told me it's not their problem.
Let that sink in.
I bought my 2020 Jeep Gladiator Mojave brand new. Here is what has happened since:
26,608 miles: at
@ChapmanJeep Engine failed. Replaced under warranty.
26,619 miles: at
@ChapmanJeep Replacement engine failed, hadnt even left the dealer yet. Replaced AGAIN under warranty. Metallic debris found throughout the oiling system. Stellantis opened a technical case. Truck was in the shop for 3 months.
30,497 miles: at
@ChapmanJeep Alternator failed. Replaced.
51,981 miles: at
@ChapmanJeep Transmission completely failed while driving. Towed in. Replaced under warranty along with the trans cooler.
54,000 miles: at Coolant started leaking when i was a block from my house, I literally rolled into my driveway in neutral, and then towed it back to Jeep. They said the Engine failed AGAIN. Oil contamination throughout the entire cooling system. EGR cooler lines blown. Every coolant hose swollen and failing. Third engine needed. this time the warranty is up..... Powertrain is 5 years or 60k i have 54k and its about 6 months passed warranty.
Read that again. Three engines in 54,000 miles.
My truck is sitting at a dealership right now, completely undrivable. I'm being told it will cost me $16,000 out of pocket to fix it.
I called Jeep. I opened a case. I asked them to stand behind their product. They denied it. No explanation. Just a voicemail saying there's nothing they can do.
Every single one of these repairs was done at an authorized Stellantis dealership. Everyone was covered under warranty because they knew something was wrong. The same failure pattern from 2022 is happening again in 2026. And now that the warranty clock ran out, they want ME to pay $16,000 to fix THEIR problem for the third time.
I have every repair order. Every photo. Every piece of documentation. This is not an exaggeration. This is not a story. This is my reality as a Jeep owner.
