Two years ago I was in Paris making a programme about Marie Antoinette. These items, which didn't make the final cut but which tickled my fancy greatly, were on display at the Conciergerie prison at the time.
They're supposedly MARIE ANTOINETTE'S KNITTING NEEDLES.
