VIDEO | On the occasion of World Dance Day, choreographer Mudassar Khan (
@mudassarkhan1) says, “To tell you the truth, I never thought about it professionally. I just liked it passionately, as an art. I never thought that I would earn money from it, and I did not even want to. I wanted to do something other than what I do, I just wanted to dance. It is not that I was earning money through dancing, I did not have that initially. But then I got many responsibilities in life and faced a lot of difficulties, so I had to choose dance. I decided to make it my profession and turn my passion into my profession. When I was a child, I wanted to dance during Ganpati, at Satyanarayan Mahapooja, at festivals or functions, or on a school’s annual day. It was limited to that. Then one day, I met Salman Khan, entered the film industry, and that is how it started.”
