🔷 OK kids — time for a Uni-level MaccaClass about
@yvonneridley
🔷 Because some of you keep asking me “who is she ?”
🔷 So, let’s actually look at what
@yvonneridley has said over the years — not the sanitized bio she presents.
🔶 First things first
Yvonne Ridley is a British journalist who converted to Islam after being captured by the Taliban in 2001.
Since then, much of her activism has focused on Palestine and attacking Israel (multiple bios & public profiles note this).
Nothing wrong with covering Palestine.
🔶 The problem is how she does it.
🔶 Demonization, not critique
Ridley doesn’t just criticize Israeli policy—she repeatedly compares Israel to Nazis, calls it a “disgusting little watchdog festering in the Middle East,” and has described Israel as a “genocidal regime.” (These statements are documented in public interviews and past speeches — including a controversial Imperial College talk.)
That’s not “policy critique.”
That’s Holocaust inversion and dehumanization.
🔶 “Zionists would be hunted down.”
Yes, she literally said her political party was “Zionist-free” and that any Zionists would be “hunted down and kicked out.”
This is widely reported in coverage of her Imperial College appearance and discussions of her political activity in the UK.
🔴 “Hunted down.”
Let that sink in.
When someone says their movement should hunt down ideological opponents, we’ve officially left the human-rights lane.
🔶 Support for Hamas & Intifada
Ridley has praised Hamas leadership, expressed support for “intifada 3,” and defended Hamas actions as legitimate “resistance.”
These positions are documented in reporting and analyses of her public statements speaking engagements.
🟢 Again—criticizing Israel = legitimate.
🔴 Cheerleading designated terrorist orgs ?
✅ Different conversation entirely.
🔶 Vile and evidence-free sexual allegations
Ridley has published statements calling Israel the “rape capital of the world,” claiming “incest is not illegal,” and implying Israelis applaud rape as “self-defense.”
These are direct quotes from her social media posts—no evidence, just blood-libel-style smears designed to present Israelis as monsters.
This isn’t human rights language.
This is dehumanization propaganda.
🔶 Rebranding Hamas as… kind?
After October 7, when Israelis were kidnapped, tortured, murdered, and raped—Ridley went on broadcast interviews discussing “acts of kindness” toward hostages, mentioning “goody bags” and sentimental “mementos.”
If you ever wondered what a Hamas apologist sounds like—this is it.
Even mainstream commentators in the UK called these remarks “sick psychology.”
🔶 So what’s going on here?
🚫 This isn’t about loving Palestinians.
✅ This is about hating Israel.
🚫 This isn’t criticism.
✅ This is propaganda.
🚫 This isn’t human rights.
✅ This is extremism marketed as activism.
💥 MaccaClass takeaway
🔶 When someone…
🔸 praises Hamas
🔸 calls for intifada
🔸 compares Israel to Nazis
🔸 spreads sexual slanders
🔸 talks about “hunting down” Zionists
…and then claims to be a moral witness ?
Elie Wiesel was a moral witness.
🔴 You’re looking at an extremist narrative, not a human-rights advocate.
🧩 Homework, children
Before you share Ridley content or invite her into your moral framework—read her actual statements.
👉 Not the PR bio.
👉 Not the sympathetic interview.
👉 Her own words.
✅ Everything I listed comes from:
👉 her speeches
👉 her X posts
👉 her interviews
👉 public academic coverage of her rhetoric
✅ Receipts exist.
✅ I didn’t invent a thing.
🧠 Final lesson
✅ Criticizing Israel = legitimate.
✅ Criticizing policy = necessary.
🔴 But supporting Hamas
❌ Holocaust inversion
❌ dehumanizing slanders
is NOT human-rights work.
🔴 It’s extremist propaganda wrapped in activist language.
