🇮🇹 🌍 🍷
#Vinitaly Around the World stopped in
#Oslo yesterday with Vinitaly Preview, an initiative to promote and introduce the international wine and spirits exhibition. The event, promoted by Veronafiere and ICE Stockholm, is part of the journey towards Vinitaly, scheduled in
#Verona from April 12 to 15.
🍽️ The event took place at the
@vaaghals restaurant, where Italian wines were paired with traditional Norwegian dishes. The Norwegian stopover involved 30 buyers and industry professionals, the specialized press, and professionals, to strengthen the presence and positioning of Italian wine on international markets. Italy maintains a leading position in sales of red, sparkling, and rosé wines in Norway, which represents a competitive and constantly evolving market.
After my speech, in which I emphasized that Italian wine is a key player in the Norwegian market, Vinitaly Director Gianni Bruno presented the 2026 edition of Vinitaly, focusing on opportunities for Norwegian operators. This was followed by a tasting led by Master of Wine Mai Tjemsland and networking opportunities.
🥂 Vinitaly is considered a leading platform for the global wine sector, with nearly 100,000 visitors, 32,000 operators from 130 countries, and 4,000 exhibitors across 18 pavilions.
