Norman, an animator and storyboard artist, began his 65-year career at Walt Disney Animation Studios in 1956, becoming the studio’s first Black animator. Σαν σήμερα, λοιπόν, το 2010 πέθανε ο Martin Gardner, Αμερικανός συγγραφέας, δημοσιογράφος κ ερασιτέχνης μαθηματικός, ευρύτερα γνωστός ως ο άνθρωπος που μύησε τις μάζες στα μαθηματικά μέσα από το παιχνίδι. Ο Martin Gardner, σε ένα από τα βιβλία του με τίτλο "Time Travel and Other Mathematical Bewilderments" κάνει αναφορά στο Παράδοξο του Ελαστικού Σχοινιού (The Rubber Rope), ένα «απολαυστικό πρόβλημα» που έχει τη μαθηματική γεύση ενός παραδόξου του Ζήνωνα. Επινοήθηκε από τον Denys Wilquin από τη Νέα Καληδονία.
