At the end of the day there has to be some trust that the “central entities“ are doing enough. Are they? Perhaps not. Does that mean Danya is a cheater and has to be portrayed like one? I hope you can agree with me that the answer is: no.

Or you're simply lying. You claim you watched and engaged with them, but you comment as if you don't know what's in them. Danya has been suspected for years by many top GMs including Hikaru, long before Kramnik said anything about Danya. Danya's online results are anomalous.

You know that 3300 is lower than 3550, right? Danya is not rated that high any more, as people are scrutinizing his play. He was #1 on 4 leaderboards. Now all his rankings and ratings dropped significantly, which is what we would expect from someone who stopped using engines.

Moreover, your ”ideas” are based on Kramnik being right (nobody is saying that cheating is not a problem) but acting this way will, imho, only burn bridges and everything around it. Not sure I can say it clearer than this. 2/2

Illarion Bykow, I am sorry if you feel I am gaslighting you. We had a lengthy discussion, that is correct but did not really get anywhere as you are so deep in the rabbit hole that it is very hard to find “common ground”.

Nobody, literally, said that using the engine during a game is okay. To, however, casually ignore the context of the situation is also wrong imho. Yes, that video is strange but no concrete evidence to the allegation that Danya is cheating, sorry.

No, it's you who is clueless about chess. I played at national level in Germany. Hans was much more bullied by Magnus and his career was much more damaged, yet literally all big chess streamers and the fans were on Magnus' side. Where's the empathy?

I own everything by Kramnik. I like Danya too. Nothing changed. I see nothing wrong in questioning anyone. But they way it is being done.. that is questionable. Chess com is silent about what is happening in their own platform which is shocking for me
