Milagro “Gramz” Cooper is asking a federal judge to hit pause on a court judgment in favor of Megan Thee Stallion, saying she simply cannot afford to pay the $75,000 award right now.
According to court documents obtained by TMZ, Cooper is requesting a delay in enforcing the judgment while she continues fighting the case through the appeals process. She argues that there are still major legal questions that need to be reviewed by a higher court before any payment should move forward.
But the biggest issue in her filing comes down to finances.
Cooper says she works as a self-employed media commentator and content creator, and that her income is inconsistent and fluctuates from month to month. She claims she does not have substantial liquid assets available and says she is not in a position to immediately pay the judgment—or post a full supersedeas bond that would normally be required to pause enforcement during an appeal.
She also tells the court that she helps support her household and two minor children, arguing that forcing payment at this stage would create a serious financial burden.
The case stems from Megan Thee Stallion’s defamation lawsuit connected to online commentary about Tory Lanez and the aftermath of the 2020 shooting case. A federal jury ultimately sided with Megan and awarded her $75,000 in damages.
