The professor who taught me Strauss wrote a book in which I thought I spotted a Straussian "error": "Hilter." I asked him about it & he shouted, "G*d D*MMIT, Joe!" Joe was his grad student assistant who had edited the book. How one fails to catch "Hilter" I truly do not know.
(I did spot another error, though, a slight, though meaningful, misquotation of scripture, that the professor admitted was intentional. "I'm playing games with the liberals," he said.)

Toronto Police Service-Gun Violence, MMIT progress and Hate Crime among TPS priorities discussed at today’s Toronto Police Service Board Meeting.
Deputy Chief Robert Johnson told the TPSB that hate crime occurrences are up 54.9 per cent over the same period last year.
“We are attending an average of 5 hate crime calls for service every day,” said Deputy Johnson. “Anti-Semitism continues to account for more reported hate crimes than any other category. Of the 221 hate crimes so far in 2024, 44.8 per cent were anti-Semitic.”.

It actually does...if nothing is authentic then it becomes a joke...the whole sentiment , the issue , the reaction. It becomes a playground for sociopaths that use your beliefs to push you into whatever agenda it is they are pushing ..mmit all comes down to the grift in the end ..
