Carolina Beach State Park is such a wonderful place! Longleaf pines, venus flytraps, pitcher plants, marina, beautiful trails, Cape Fear River frontage. Controlled burn done last week on 30 acres. @NCparks #NCPATH #GreatTrailsState @TrailNc

In 2023, @NCparks had 20.1million visitors, a 4% increase over 2022. And nearly 3000 acres were added to the parks system for a total of 262k acres. The NC #yearofthetrail was a huge success! @TrailNc #NCPATH
