It’s my baby’s birthday next month, here he is a year ago ❤️ #ourkiddodax Tammara dressed him so cute on this day. Can’t wait to see him tomorrow. Work trips are fun but I missed my papito.

A surprising number of my child's therapists start to call me Ren like it's my name when I tell them that's what my child calls me. Like, do you text other parents and call them Mom or Dad? #nonbinary #nonbinaryparent

I also decided to be called Ren not Mom, and those have been some of the best decisions I've made. My pronouns and my parent name validate me and make me feel like myself. They matter.

Some nonbinary parents use terms like Mother/mom/father/dad for themselves. Some use parent. Some might use new terms altogether.
Don't assume you know which term is right for someone.
Don't assume a person's gender based on which term they use.
