I first heard them back in high school when Jason Newsted joined them. I entered a bit too early, and didn't get much out of their self-titled album. I revisited them about ten years later, and they clicked with me when I bought Nothingface.

I still remember seeing Voivod on their Nothingface tour with a band of nobodies called Soundgarden as the opener. Great show.

Influencia del punk clásico tienen y mucha, eso es cierto, no sabía lo del post-hardcore porque solo he escuchado tres discos (Killing, Dimension y Nothingface, todos perfectos).

Voivod is one of my favorite progressive metal bands and Killing Technology is probably their best though i really enjoy Nothingface and Dimension Hatross as well. This US original walks all over the reissue I have.
