You're a very silly person.
Plenty of corporations and especially small businesses that have every right and reason in the world to use VPN technology don't buy ranges of IP addresses which, by the way, ran out over a decade ago if you're talking about IPv4 addresses.
Here's a little exercise for the loudmouth who likes to run around calling people dumbass: Tell me exactly how many law firms (just one category of small business) with fifty or fewer employees use VPN technology and also own a range of IP addresses. Pluming companies? Maintenance companies with small mobile fleets?
Now tell me how Tailscale works, and who you think you're supposed to get permission from in order to use it.
Tell me the differences between Wireguard, IPSec, IKEv2, SSTP, OpenVPN, PPTP, ZeroTier, and Tailscale. Tell me about NAT and CGNAT. What are the differences between TCP, UDP, and ICMP. What is NAT/Firewall hole punch technology, what does it actually do, and who uses it?
While you're at it, bear in mind that some of the biggest companies on the planet use technologies like Tailscale extensively.
I'm pretty sure only one of us actually understands at a fundamental level who the dumbass is here.
