oversimplification- Female leaders have backed wars. Violent movements recruit women too.Real peace comes from strong institutions, rule of law, and taming male violence — not gender checkboxes. History shows empowered societies still fight when incentives align.

I don’t know where you’re getting that from, I guess you really love oversimplification. Btw, I think Lestat had it coming, and Louis deserves her utter contemp as well. Claudia doing what she had to do to leave is something I applaud.

a sort of a hybrid of left right ideologies, which falls outside of oversimplification or oversimplified classification into only 2 polarities. Actually, Ronal Reagan didn’t think fascism belongs to the far-right: youtu.be/JZIsAAxQgy8?is=L5VY… So, your little bird brain think Reagan

It's an oversimplification, but let's stipulate that this is true. What's your point? Forget the fact that Washington wouldn't recognize "his" republic, is longevity evidence of virtue? If so, Empire in Europe (which lasted 1400 years) is far greater.
Washington’s republic is still going. Napoleon’s empire ended before his life did.

Ya well I think the point is moot as they have their basic needs met. But I also think the pyramid is a useful hueristic but an oversimplification as well as an over "humans are animals" representation. It seems true on average, but there are far too many examples of men and women giving up the lowest tier for family, meaning, religion, country, risk, honor, wealth, etc, etc. I think the majority would give up if their basic needs weren't being met, but never underestimate some of the hardliners believe this so deeply they'd continue because meaning and community can rise above basic needs first.

You've been taking our tax dollars for literal decades and all you do is ask for more. Seriously, I know that's an oversimplification, but it's exactly what has been going on. Stop the grift already. We need to see what our lives look like without fed taxes.

Peter Obi is guilty of oversimplification of policy discussions but he isn't a man bereft of ideas. He is right when he says nobody is more qualified than him in the current electoral cycle.

I think the “English is the new code, models are the compilers” story line is an attractive idea but a fundamental oversimplification that leads you into poor mental models on how build with agents. 1 or 2 nines of reliability is fundamentally different from 5 or 6 nines. This is a deep engineering principle, not something that changes just because you have a coding agent. I think it's counterintuitive for us because for decades we got used to exactness and automation in software being very connected, almost the same thing, because most code that engineers wrote was exact. But human knowledge work has always been a blend of exact and inexact processes. The real question then is not “how do we automate?” but rather “how do we automate and also bootstrap reliability?” And “How do build hybrid exact and inexact agentic processes that can adapt as we discover new requirements?” The most unreasonably effective agentic building patterns (auto research loops, having agents write better tests) all have this blend of exact and inexact processes. Wrote a bit more on this last year:

Why exact and inexact processes are not the same and compose differently.

ChapGPT again. ❌ “They only need 20% for a truck nuke.” This is an oversimplification. Designing a nuclear weapon involves much more than enrichment percentage. While some experts argue a crude improvised device could theoretically be built with uranium below 90%, there is no broad consensus that “20% is all you need” for a practical nuclear bomb. Weapon design, quantity of material, metallurgy, explosives, and triggering systems are all critical factors. ❌ “60% is needed to make it light enough for rocket launch.” This is not a standard benchmark used by nuclear experts. Higher enrichment helps reduce the amount of uranium needed, but missile delivery depends on many engineering factors beyond enrichment level alone. The statement is an oversimplification and not a recognized rule. ❌ “They’re literally within months of forming a core and a test detonation.” This is a prediction, not an established fact.

Oversimplification? Wonderful!

Oversimplification. Even the founders knew that man’s agency would eventually lead to capture. Reason they repeatedly emphasized two things. 1. The Constitution was written for a moral society. 2. Vigilance on the part of the people is a requirement to keep government accountable.

Yes, America helped create conditions that accelerated PLA's rise. But, "PLA = American military" is a ridiculous oversimplification and exaggeration. Boht jyada hogaya yeh toh. Cause, if that's true, Modi is been asked to start a war with American military by the Americans?

We've gone from discussing data centres to fanfiction about where I live. Does calling others dumb make you feel smarter? Your oversimplification reeks of inability to understand complex topics or just ignorance. Get educated maybe.

oversimplification: Dragons and orcs are exactly that. Dragons and orcs. When Bilbo makes his birthday speech, his angst isn't towards dragons and orcs is it? It's directed right there to the Shire itself, at his fellow Hobbits. youtu.be/CiRu_W9tzM8?t=46

this is an oversimplification at best, which should be obvious given the economic marginalization of lesbians. single-earner households wouldn't make sense for most lesbians, even ignoring the history of blue collar butches. butchfemme history is inextricable from class dynamics.
