I have just started with normal pasteurised milk. Just introduced it into my shake today. For now the gut seems to tolerate but it was still small amount.

Dr Armida Fernandez, a Mumbai neonatologist, has been awarded the Padma Shri 2026 for establishing Asia’s first human milk bank at Sion Hospital in 1989. The initiative provided safe donor breast milk to premature and vulnerable newborns whose mothers could not breastfeed, significantly improving neonatal survival outcomes. The recognition highlights her decades-long contribution to public health and infant care in India. 👉🏼 Pioneering Human Milk Banking - Dr Fernandez introduced India’s first organised human milk bank system, enabling screened and pasteurised donor milk for newborns in need. She has described mother’s milk as “a child’s first immunisation,” stressing its protective role against infections. 👉🏼 From Mumbai to Nationwide Impact- What began at Sion Hospital gradually inspired similar milk banks across India, strengthening neonatal care systems and expanding access to donor milk for at-risk infants in public healthcare facilities. 👉🏼 Legacy of Compassionate Healthcare - Beyond the milk bank, Dr Fernandez founded SNEHA in 1999, working on maternal and child health in underserved communities. Officials and health experts have widely welcomed her Padma Shri recognition for advancing neonatal survival. The Logical Indian's Perspective - Dr Fernandez’s journey reflects how compassionate, science-based innovation can transform public healthcare quietly but powerfully. It also raises an important question on whether India should do more to recognise grassroots medical pioneers who save lives every day. How can such innovations be further scaled across the country? #PadmaShri2026 #NewbornCare #MaternalHealth

More people in the world drink raw milk than milk that has been pasteurised. They seem to be fine. There are bigger problems like norvirus in unwashed greens that affects “modern” first world countries on the regular.

Milk "Pasteurised" (I don't like the Campylobacter, Cryptosporidium, E. coli, Listeria, Brucella, and Salmonella) ,readily found in raw milk.

made from pasteurised milk like this might be partly cuz my family is from Normandy but I wouldn’t really eat a Camembert if it isn’t made of unpasteurised milk in Normandy cuz it just wouldn’t be the same cheese. Basically if that restriction is there it would change the

These are all made in America even if they say France on it genius. It's not real camembert because the milk they use is pasteurised.

We had a dairy farm in the family, they always warmed the milk/cream in a stock pot, skimmed & the cream off so it was pasteurised. I suspect a lot of other framers do the same.

Past protestors pasteurised - this was a travesty of judicial procedure. Obfuscation and in effect a decision that has blurred the meaning of ‘terrorism’ and of what is ‘a terrorist organisation’

Says the tanning bed user, raw milk drinker, steroid using, antivaxer? I think I will stick with vaccines, sunscreen, pasteurised milk and more veggies, oh and I think steroids are a bad idea, just like taking health advice from anyone who advocates any of this.

If raw milk is too much of a hassle go for organic & (a2 if available) pasteurised. Avoid homogenised milk. Homogenisation damages the natural molecular structure of milk. Never go for ultra pasteurised as it kills all prana in the milk. (2/n)
