I think you are right but there is a pitfall: post posing any responsibility for the sake of carpe Diem and that we need to enjoy now and work later. Many people think this way when they think about kids. The irony is that by the time you are a grand parent, you are too old and the likelihood of being never able to enjoy your grandkids is higher.
