One thing that struck me about morrowind is how much they made use of their limited (compared to now) set of props. Just about every inhabited location used them to tell a little story. The piles of strewn bottles in a cave. The neatly placed fancy plateware in the mansion.

Post-massage lunch logic at the Wynn Tower Suites pool: chicken tendies 🍗, avocado toast minus the toast 🥑 with cucumber, tomato, radishes, smoked almonds, and arugula pesto, plus a mimosa with just enough OJ to stay respectable. 🍾
Real plateware, proper service, fast delivery, zero nonsense. No complaints. I’ve always loved this “exclusive” pool, and yes, it still has some of my favorite cabanas in Vegas.
Polished poolside behavior... with chicken tendies.

Stop using real silverware. Buy all disposable silverware and paper plates so you toss it all out. If he complains, tell him you don't have time to deal with things like plates and silverware since you're working full time. You need to address it directly and remind him that when he worked, he came home tired and you're supporting both of you, so he deals with fake plateware/silverware or learns to wash dishes.
