Got a few herbs pruned and hung for drying. Lemon balm and mint. Also picked chamomile flowers. Iโm bad a pruning. Never want to cut into them but I know it helps promote more growth. And helps my tea provisions grow too ๐

After going through the Treekeepers course and spending a lot of time observing trees around the city, I've become a fan of preventive pruning when done appropriately. Having a dead branch pruned can be much better than having it ripped off in a storm. 1/

Yes! All they need is a bit of annual pruning and for neighbours to come together and do a bit of a street sweep up when they lose their leaves in autumn.

Look up the advice on the RHS website, depending on the type of rose. They also waited until the very last of winter to prune them, so not too early. Also important to feed them after pruning. Mine were very hit and miss most years, they finally established and the pruning really set them up for success I think.
