The petition argues that this system is inherently discriminatory. Visual impairment does not impact intellectual capability! When provided with reasonable accommodations—like accessible digital books, screen readers, and scribes—visually impaired students are fully capable of studying the mainstream curriculum and competing at the highest levels.
